Network Engineer
Interface Technologies Northwest is looking for a Network Engineer to join our team in Everett.
We are a team providing telecommunications support to the businesses of Western Washington. From structured cabling to WiFi to hosted telephony we keep the technology moving.
What you can do:
Work in a variety of environments – we have all kinds of customers in all kinds of businesses
Design, build, deploy and administer complex security tools
Monitor and maintain LAN/WAN while continuing to evolve the environment with new technology
Comfortable in Layer 3 – and ready to become the expert
What you will be doing:
Configuring and installing network hardware – programming and installing switches, routers and firewalls
Hands-on installations and replacement of voice/network equipment
Perform and verify storage/backups of system configuration files
Scheduled maintenance – including updated and off-hours testing
Issue outage report, trouble tickets and dispatch maintenance personnel as needed
Teach and learn from other team members
Give great service to our clients
Your Qualifications:
Proficient in Cloud Technologies and Concepts, Office 365 essential
Knowledge of FortiGate, HPE Switches, Hosted VOIP, Avaya IP office, Cloud WIFI platforms (Ruckus. Meraki)
Ability to troubleshoot wired and wireless networks.
Knowledge of Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI)
Knowledge of web security technologies
Knowledge and understanding of LAN/WAN concepts
3+ years of experience in IT
Trade Certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, or equivalent experience
Cleaning driving record
