As the new workday starts, we grab our cups of coffee and head through our normal get-ready routine, we may find the lack of commute and the need for slacks to be a bit redundant.  Telecommuting has its flexibilities but with ordinary tools like cell phones, facetime, texts, zoom, we now find reliable communication tools more essential than ever before.  If you are not using the right resources it could be costly in customer communication, relatability, and professionalism.   Do not get caught playing an old game of telephone, or there will be troubles.   Work from home or wherever you are and keep it professional.

I have worked for Interface Technologies NW for 12 years as New Business Development/Marketing utilizing many of the tools we have provided to our clients; phones, collaboration tools, headsets, interfaces.  The majority of my day is spent online and, on the phone, the tools I use are a direct reflection of the products I sell and guarantee to prospects.    By far I would recommend Intermedia as my number-one tool to stay connected with teammates and customers.  Since I live in Texas, 2,000+ miles from the epicenter of where I ‘work’ it is more convenient today with Intermedia then it ever has been.  I can easily reach out to my team via messaging, collaborate using video chat, share files and proposals, see who is in and out of office, transfer calls, it feels like I am in office.  I can invite customers & partners to collaborate with our team via conference or video with the click of a button, all while knowing the information we upload, or screen-share is encrypted and safe.  I also have the accessibility of doing all of this from a PC, laptop, cell phone or tablet.
